Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final, except under the limited conditions outlined below.
1. Perishable Goods — No Returns
All products sold by Truffle Cart are perishable gourmet food items.
👉 Therefore:
- No returns are accepted
- No refunds for change of mind
- No refunds for quality degradation after delivery
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Fresh truffles
- Fresh mushrooms
- Opened or used products
2. Limited Exception — Damaged or Spoiled Product
A refund or replacement will ONLY be considered if:
- The product arrives damaged or spoiled
- AND you contact us within 24 hours of delivery
👉 Requests outside this window will not be accepted.
3. Required Proof (MANDATORY)
To submit a claim, you MUST provide:
Clear photos of:
- Product condition
- Packaging
- Shipping label
- Order number
👉 Claims without complete proof will be automatically denied
4. Shipping & Carrier Responsibility
We ship all perishable products using expedited carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
Once an order is:
- Handed over to the carrier
- AND tracking is issued
👉 Responsibility for delivery timing transfers to the carrier
5. Carrier Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Carrier logistics issues
- Weather conditions
- Transportation disruptions
- Operational delays within the carrier network
👉 This includes delays that may affect product freshness or quality
6. Delivery Responsibility
Once an order is marked as delivered by the carrier:
- Responsibility transfers to the customer
We are not responsible for:
- Packages left unattended
- Missed deliveries
- Incorrect shipping address
- Theft after delivery
7. Storage Responsibility
Fresh truffles are highly sensitive products.
By purchasing, you agree:
- To immediately refrigerate upon delivery
- To store products under proper conditions
We are not responsible for quality issues resulting from:
- Improper storage
- Delayed opening of the package
8. Natural Product Variability
Truffles are natural products.
Variation in:
- Size
- Shape
- Color
- Aroma intensity
👉 Is normal and NOT grounds for refund
9. Resolution (At Our Discretion)
If a claim is approved, we may offer:
- Replacement
- Store credit
- Partial refund
👉 We reserve full discretion in determining the appropriate resolution.
10. Chargebacks & Disputes
By placing an order, you agree:
- To contact us first to resolve any issue
- That all claims must follow this policy
We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks using:
- Delivery confirmation
- Carrier tracking records
- Submitted claim evidence
- Policy acknowledgment at checkout
11. Policy Acceptance
This policy is:
- Clearly displayed on our website
- Available prior to purchase
