Shipping policy

Fresh-product shipping

Truffle Cart ships fresh truffles, fresh mushrooms, frozen products, shelf-stable foods, and kitchen tools to destinations offered at checkout. Fresh and frozen products are scheduled around product availability, safe transit windows, weekends, and carrier service. We may hold a perishable order for the next suitable shipping day rather than risk a weekend or holiday delay.

Fresh and frozen orders normally use an expedited service appropriate for the product and destination. The shipping method, price, and estimated delivery timing shown at checkout or in a written order confirmation apply to your order. Delivery dates and carrier transit times are estimates, not guarantees.

Seasonal availability and order changes

Fresh truffles and wild mushrooms are seasonal agricultural products. If harvest conditions, inspection, weather, or supply materially affect availability or dispatch timing, we will contact you using the information on the order. We will not substitute a materially different species or product without your approval. If an acceptable solution is not available, we may cancel and refund the affected item.

Addresses and receiving

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including business name, suite, apartment, access code, and a telephone number when required by the carrier. Please arrange for someone to receive perishable deliveries promptly. Address corrections, redirects, refused delivery, and repeated delivery attempts can cause delays and additional charges.

Open perishable shipments immediately. Refrigerate fresh truffles and mushrooms and place frozen items in a freezer as directed on the product page or package. If there is damage, spoilage, a temperature concern, or an incorrect item, contact info@trufflecart.com on the delivery day whenever reasonably possible, and no later than 24 hours after delivery. Keep the product and packaging available for review.

Carrier delays and weather

Weather, transportation interruptions, holidays, security restrictions, and other events outside our reasonable control can affect delivery. We monitor issues when possible and will help with carrier claims, but expedited service does not guarantee a specific arrival time. Please contact us immediately if tracking shows a delay involving a perishable shipment.

Wholesale, restaurant, and distributor orders

Large, recurring, wholesale, restaurant, and distributor orders may have availability, pack, freight, cold-chain, delivery, or payment terms confirmed separately in writing. A written Truffle Cart quote or order confirmation controls for the specific quantity and shipment it covers.

International destinations

When international delivery is offered at checkout, the customer is responsible for confirming that the products can be imported and for any duties, taxes, brokerage, permits, or customs charges unless our written confirmation states otherwise. Customs delays are outside carrier delivery estimates.
