Overview
This website is operated by Truffle Cart. These Terms of Service apply to your use of the website and to orders placed through it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy. If applicable law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights are not limited by these terms.
Products, seasonality, and availability
Fresh truffles, wild mushrooms, and other agricultural products vary naturally by species, grade, harvest, season, and lot. Photographs are representative; size, shape, color, surface markings, and aroma can vary. Product descriptions identify the species, grade, pack, or other material characteristics that apply to the order.
Availability and market pricing can change quickly. We may correct obvious errors, limit quantities, or decline an order before fulfillment. If we cannot fulfill an item as ordered, we will contact you and may offer a later shipment, an approved alternative, or a refund. We will not make a material species or product substitution without your approval.
Orders and written quotes
An order acknowledgment confirms that we received your order; it does not guarantee acceptance or availability until the order is confirmed for fulfillment. Please review product, quantity, grade, shipping address, requested timing, and contact information before submitting an order.
For a wholesale, restaurant, distributor, telephone, or directly quoted order, the written Truffle Cart quote or order confirmation controls for the product, quantity, price, and shipment it covers if it differs from general website information. Quotes may be limited by time, quantity, season, or availability.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and exclude taxes, shipping, duties, and other charges unless stated otherwise. You agree to provide current and accurate billing and payment information and authorize the charges shown when you submit the order.
Shipping and risk
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Carrier dates are estimates. Customers must provide an accurate address and arrange prompt receipt and proper storage of perishable products. Inspect perishable orders immediately and follow the same-day issue process in our Refund Policy.
Food handling and professional use
Follow product labels, storage directions, use-by guidance, and food-safety practices. Fresh and wild mushrooms should be cleaned and cooked when the product page or label instructs. Customers, chefs, retailers, and distributors are responsible for appropriate storage, preparation, allergen controls, resale handling, and compliance after delivery.
Returns and refunds
Returns, delivery concerns, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Perishable products cannot be returned for change of mind. Reporting a fresh-product concern on the delivery day, with photographs and packaging retained, gives us the best opportunity to verify and resolve it.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. You may not use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or security-disruptive activity; interfere with the site; scrape it in a manner that disrupts service; or misuse its content or trademarks.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the site's text, photographs, graphics, branding, and other content are owned by or licensed to Truffle Cart and may not be copied or used commercially without permission.
Third-party services
Payments, shipping, analytics, and other functions may be provided by Shopify, carriers, payment processors, and other service providers. Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not make Truffle Cart responsible for their content.
Disclaimer and limitation
We aim to keep product and site information accurate and to provide reliable service, but the site may occasionally contain errors or interruptions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truffle Cart is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the site or products. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded remains subject to applicable law.
Events outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, carrier disruption, harvest failure, government action, labor interruption, or infrastructure outage. We will communicate material order impacts and try to provide a practical resolution.
Changes and severability
We may update these terms by posting a revised version. The terms in effect when an order is placed govern that order unless a later change is required by law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
